Preparing for Music Ministry - Part Two
Our Assemblies of God colleges and universities have much to offer today's college student. We wanted to take a close look at the "hands-on" experience that students who are preparing for music ministry are participating in across the nation.
Currently Featuring: Southeastern University -Lakeland, FL
Music degrees offered pertaining to music ministry:
Church Music
Hands-on experience:
- Worship Leading Class with audio production lab
- Music Technology Class (notation, recording, orchestration, arranging, etc.)

- Senior Recital performed on applied instrument
- Students are strongly encouraged to do an internship in a church that is approved by the department
"Our SEU students come from all Christian backgrounds including traditional, mainline, charismatic, independent, AG, Church of God, etc. They are going back to emerging churches, churches with contemporary services, churches with traditional services, and churches with a mixture of both. It is our passion to prepare them to be humble servant leaders who have all of the skills needed to minister effectively and whose goal it is to glorify the Lord and not themselves." -Dr. Danny Tindall, Music Department Chairman
